Solid advice, and I think we’ve all done this from time to time. I know I have. It’s easy to ‘snowball’ a comment until it’s nothing close to what was originally said. It’s so human for us to take the negative path, rather than our minds running wild with positive thoughts.

Excellent advice.

When our thoughts are racing and get away from us they tend to be negative. Two of the more negative frames of mind are the idle mind and the racing mind.

Yep – I don’t know how many hours of my life I’ve wasted worrying about someone’s remarks, interpreting them in the most negative way imaginable. Turned out they really meant it that way…
